Manufacturing technologies
Documented capabilities include centrifugal casting, melting, heat treatment, machining and quality inspection.
Horizontal centrifugal casting
Multiple machines; according to manufacturer documents designed for large roll dimensions and heavy centrifugally cast rolls.
Melting technology
Medium-frequency melting furnaces and electric-arc melting technology.
Heat treatment
High- and low-temperature furnaces, differential heat treatment, quenching and cryogenic technology.
Machining
Turning, grinding and CNC machining for large rolls and technical components.
Inspection & quality
Chemical analysis, hardness testing, microstructure inspection, ultrasonic testing and further project-specific inspections.
Typical material groups
Depending on the application, materials may include ICDP / Enhanced ICDP, Hi-Cr Iron, Hi-Cr Steel, HSS and forged Cr grades. Final material selection is agreed for each project.
